Bairnsdale Uniting Church have sponsored two monthly BBQ for seasonal workers as part of Community Connections providing hospitality and linking them in with services if needed. This has been a time to relax after the stress of moving to Australia recently and learning a new culture. Op Shop volunteers and church members have given additional support and one particular member has been working with six seasonal workers from Vanuatu; to help them learn sewing skills. This has been a really successful small project helping them with basic sewing skills. At completion of the six week program Jenny presented them with a good second hand sewing machine,
